Μία ξεχωριστή εικαστική προσέγγιση του φυσικού τοπίου στο αεροδρόμιο της Αθήνας

Ο Διεθνής Αερολιμένας Αθηνών, με αφορμή τα 10 χρόνια του Φεστιβάλ Ψηφιακών Τεχνών και Νέων Μέσων (Athens Video Art Festival), φιλοξενεί στον εκθεσιακό χώρο «Περιβάλλον & Πολιτισμός», μια μοναδική έκθεση πολυμέσων και σύγχρονης περιβαλλοντικής αφύπνισης, με τίτλο: «Feel Free to Feel Green» (3 Σεπτεμβρίου – 31 Δεκεμβρίου 2014)

Μεταφέροντας την αίσθηση του φυσικού τοπίου στον εσωτερικό χώρο του αεροδρομίου, Έλληνες και ξένοι δημιουργοί, μέσω έργων Video Art, Animation, Installations και Digital Image, διαπραγματεύονται τη σχέση του σύγχρονου ανθρώπου με το φυσικό περιβάλλον και το ρόλο της τεχνολογίας στην εναρμόνισή του με αυτό, αναδεικνύοντας παράλληλα ιστορίες και καταγραφές των ταξιδιωτών και των επισκεπτών του αεροδρομίου της Αθήνας.

Με την επιθυμία να ενεργοποιήσει το κοινό προς μία σύγχρονη περιβαλλοντική ηθική, η έκθεση «Feel Free to Feel Green» παρουσιάζεται στον εκθεσιακό χώρο Περιβάλλον & Πολιτισμός – επίπεδο αναχωρήσεων, έως και 31 Δεκεμβρίου 2014, ανοικτή στο κοινό καθόλο το 24ωρο.

A unique cultural approach of the natural environment at the airport of Athens

The Athens International Airport, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary edition of the International Festival of Digital Arts & New Media (Athens Video Art Festival), hosts a unique multimedia and contemporary environmental awareness exhibition, titled “Feel Free to Feel Green” (September 3- December 31, 2014) in the “Art & Environment” exhibition area.

Conveying the feeling of the natural scenery in the interior space of the airport, Greek and international artists, via projects of Video Art, Animation, Installations and Digital Image, debate the relationship between people and environment and the place of technology in it, revealing stories and reports of the travellers and visitors of Athens International Airport.

Wishing to shift the audience to contemporary environmental ethics, “Feel Free to Feel Green” is presented in the “Art & Environment” exhibition area – departure level, until December 31, 2014, open to the public 24 hours a day.
